19. The Bodyguard by Katherine Center

Why I loved it: The Bodyguard was ultra sweet and freaking hilarious. I laughed so much while reading it. It was a breath of fresh air.

Why I loved it: There were so many layers to How To Fake It In Hollywood. On the surface, it may look like just another celebrity romance, but it was much deeper than that, and I loved it.

Why I loved it: Talk about a page-turner! Wowza. I’m still at a loss for words. The Last Housewife isn’t a jump-out-of-your-seat thriller, but it is suspenseful and will probably make you sick to your stomach multiple times.

Why I loved it: Love & Other Words is my favorite childhood friends to lovers read of 2022. The love story between Macy and Elliot was beautiful, yet sad. But ultimately, it gave me yet another reason to believe in love.

2. A Court of Mist and Fury by Sarah J. Maas

Read if you love: romantasy, books that have you on the edge of your seat, a suspenseful plot, terrific worldbuilding
Why I loved it: I don’t read much fantasy, but after reading A Court of Thorns and Roses, I knew I had to pick this one up. I have ZERO regrets. I read this months ago, and I can still remember it vividly.
