Were you a Camp Rock fan growing up?? If so, you NEED to check out this fantastic new summer read. It has adult camp rock vibes, time travel, and groveling! The summer camp setting is what makes this book great for summer. I enjoyed reading it outside on my rooftop with an icy drink in my hand. 

My heart went out to Emma and Jamie throughout the book. They’re high school sweethearts who have grown up and apart. Our Final Love Song finds them time-traveling one year into the past and having a shot at rediscovering their spark. I don’t know about you, but I love time-travel romances! There’s something fun about watching the characters realize they’re not in their time and try to return to their time. This book did not disappoint. Overall, I thought the time travel aspect, woven into their love story, was well done. 

I loved Emma and Jamie together. It was clear they had a strong foundation but had just grown apart, as can happen when you’re with someone for a long time. It turns out that part of their issues dealt with miscommunication/making assumptions, but that didn’t bother me too much because it felt natural. 

Overall, Our Final Love Song was a cozy read that will make a great addition to your summer! You should check it out 🙂
